There are simple sprinklers that have no motor but simply rotate through the force of the water that sprays out.
What happens when you put such a sprinkler into a tub filled with water and attach a pump that sucks water through the sprinkler.
Since it is now sucking in water does that mean it rotates in the other direction? Does it rotate at all?
