| I could tell as I opened this package that this was one well made product. This reel is of strong quality construction made for years of heavy-duty use. The fit and finish is superb, the parts are well packaged, and the instructions are well written making this reel easy to assemble and install. After installation I rolled it full of 3/4 inch heavy duty hose and ran it full of water, now that's alot of weight; This thing didn't even know it had a hose on it...worked smoothly. It is good to see that the USA can still manufacture quality products. Totally impressed with this reel. |

| My Rapid Reel Wall mount Garden Hose Reel #1040-GH arrived within days of ordering, in excellent condition, with all parts and clear instructions for assembly and mounting, which took approximately 1/2 hour. I mounted mine perpendicular to the wall, rather than parallel to it. It's helpful but not necessary to have a second pair of hands and an electric drill/hexbit set. The dull charcoal-bronze finish is unobtrusive and clean looking. The color of hose does make a difference in how it appears. It almost took more time to attach the hose than to assemble and mount. I would recommend a commercial quality hose to avoid crimping. This unit is very strong metal and the mounting screws are spaced for wall studs. My reels are replacing less expensive plastic ones which have repetitively broken or torn out of their mounting holes with use. The reel has a clutch that prevents it from unrolling ad infinitum as you stop pulling the hose off the reel. Very pleased. Highly recommended. Despite cost, good value. |

Excellent quality non leaking W/brass swivel. Can be mounted to reel out from wall or sideways from wall to make it good for any need. This is accomidated by excellent product design.

| I have several hose reels on my property and until I discovered this product I thought I was destined to change out the cheap plastic ones that I was using on a regular basis. After installing this well engineered product I believe that it will last many years and is well worth the extra investment. It works great, looks great and was easy to install. Everything you need to do a professional install is included with well written instructions. If you need a hose reel this is the one to buy! |

| If you're looking for a well-engineered, well-built hose reel, look no further. We purchased one of these reels last year for our co-op and we absolutely love it. One of the small springs was missing, so I contacted RapidReel customer service. They not only knew the exact part I was referring to, they shipped it to me via priority mail at no charge. RapidReel guarantees their products for 10 years! We've stopped wasting money on the cheap, plastic hose reels that need to be replaced every few years. This is not an inexpensive hose reel, but you get what you pay for. I considered some of the self-retracting hose reels made in Australia, but decided that simplicity was better. We're looking to get 5 more of these next Spring. The units also come with high quality mounting hardware for for installation on masonry or wood. |
